Text Messaging Policy

How we use text messages and how you can manage them

Last Updated: June 2025

1. Why We Text

We use text messages to keep you informed about your care. This includes things like appointment reminders, lab result notifications, prescription refill reminders, and occasional office updates. If you opt in, we may also send health tips and information about new services.

Texting is optional — you’ll still receive the same information via email, phone, or your patient portal if you prefer not to get texts.

2. How to Sign Up

You can opt in to text messages by:

  • Providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our website
  • Giving us your number at your visit
  • Texting START or JOIN to our office number

Consent is completely optional and not required to receive care.

3. How to Stop

You can opt out at any time by texting STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or END to any message from us. We’ll confirm you’ve been removed.

You can also opt out by calling us at (702) 448-1100 or emailing [email protected].

If you change your mind later, just text START to re-subscribe.

4. What to Expect

Most patients receive a few texts per week, depending on their appointment schedule. Typical messages include:

  • Appointment reminders — sent a week before and the day before
  • Lab result alerts — letting you know results are ready in your portal
  • Prescription reminders — refill reminders as needed
  • Office updates — hours changes, closures, new services
  • Health tips — occasional wellness info (if opted in)

5. Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your cell phone carrier may apply. If you have an unlimited texting plan, there’s no additional cost. Check with your carrier if you’re unsure.

6. Your Privacy

We keep text messages general — appointment times, reminders, and alerts. We don’t send detailed medical information, lab values, or diagnoses via text. Sensitive health information is always communicated through our secure patient portal or in person.

We don’t sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Need Help?

Text HELP to any message from us, or reach out directly:

  • Phone: (702) 448-1100
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Address: 11251 S Eastern Ave Suite 150, Las Vegas, NV 89052

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll let you know about any significant changes. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised policy.
